The Union Government has agreed to run a special train from Thivim/Margao/Karamali (Goa) to Una to ferry people of Himachal Pradesh stranded in Goa, said Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with Himachalis through video-conferencing.

He said the special train from Goa was likely to start on May 13 or 14.

Meanwhile, Thakur urged the Andhra Pradesh Government to help natives of HP stranded in Sri Sayta Sai Seva Organisation at Puttaparthy (AP).

In a letter to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Thakur said that the Himachal Government was receiving several SOS calls for help from stranded Himachalis there.Most of these people want to come back to their native places. — TNS
