The mortal remains of travel blogger Anjali Ryot, who was one of the two foreign tourists killed in a crossfire of a drug-gang shootout in Mexico recently, arrived at her hometown here yesterday. Her body was flown to Chandigarh and brought to Solan by road.
A prayer meeting was organised at St Stephen’s church which was attended by her family and relatives. Her body was cremated at a local graveyard.

Ryot and her husband Utkarsh Shrivastava had gone to Mexico to celebrate her 30th birthday on October 22. She resided at San Jose city in California. Her father KD Ryot is a known veterinarian of the state. — TNS
