Tree plantation drive held in Sanjauli college
The NSS unit of Government College, Sanjauli, along with the Eco Club, conducted a tree plantation drive. Around 250 saplings were planted during the drive by the students of the college. The NSS volunteers also took the responsibility to look after the planted saplings.
22 farmers trained by Nauni varsity
A five-day training programme was organised for by the Directorate of Extension Education, YSP University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. As many a 22 farmers of Dodra-Kwar region were trained during the programme. The were informed about various practices such as high-density plantation, canopy management, nutrient use efficiency, orchard floor management, plant propagation and nursery management. The trainees were also apprised of scientific interventions and government schemes.
Students’ Council constituted
The new student council of Army Public School, Dagshai, was formed for the session 2022-23. Brig RS Rana, Commandant of 14 GTC and the school Chairman, conferred badges to the new appointees. School prefect (girl) Amrisha Dubey administered oath to them. Ragul J was appointed school captain (boys) while Amrisha Dubey was appointed school captain (girls).
