Two Mandi AAP leaders join Congress

Hamipur, July 26

Two leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Mandi joined the Congress in the presence to Congress Campaign Committee chairman Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Nadaun today.

Vivek Jamwal, president of Simas gram panchayat in Jogindernagar and AAP spokesperson, said he was surprised to see that party leaders were misleading people on various issues.

Radheshyam, another AAP leader from Nachan in Mandi, said the party would be exposed soon. “It has no future, as its programmes and policies are not suitable for Himachal Pradesh. People should not vote for AAP. Only the Congress can give good governance,” he added.

Sukhu said soon people would leave AAP, as it had lost its base even in Punjab. He added people in Punjab were feeling betrayed by AAP, as it had failed to meet their expectations. “AAP leaders lured people with promises that they could never be fulfilled. Many leaders of various parties are in touch with the Congress,” he added.
