Una, July 31

The Una Block BJP protested the alleged misbehaviour by Punjab Health Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra against Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice Chancellor of the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, at the district headquarter today. Dr Raj Bahadur hails from Una city.

The BJP activists, who were led by Chairman of the State Finance Commission Satpal Singh Satti, carried out a march from the Circuit House to the Rotary chowk. At the Rotary chowk, the BJP workers burnt the effigy of Jouramajra.

Later, addressing the mediapersons, Satti said Dr Raj Bahadur was an eminent surgeon of international repute. “He is one of the best spine surgeons in the country and is polite in nature,” Satti said, adding that Dr Raj Bahadur was pride of Himachal Pradesh.

Satti said ever since the Aam Admi Party had come to power in Punjab, their ministers and leaders had been misusing the power. “I ask Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal to admonish such acts and advise their leaders to respect people and treat them with dignity,” he added.
