Una Municipal Corporation starts online bill payment portal

The Una Municipal Corporation (MC) has launched an online portal for the residents of the city to deposit house tax and the garbage collection fee from the comfort of their homes. Joint Municipal Commissioner Manoj Kumar said yesterday that while the existing system of depositing cash at designated counters would continue, people now would have an additional facility of depositing dues without the hassle of standing in queues.

Manoj said that the users would have to complete a one-time registration process by linking their mobile phone numbers to the portal and a Unique ID number would be allocated to them. Subsequently, every month, the users would get their bills through SMSes from AD-HPGOVT-G or AX-HPGOVT-G along with the link for payment, he added.

People could also make payments through the website https://citizenseva.hp.gov.in/hp-udd/ by filling the desired information and the Unique ID number, he said.
