The Kindle edition of “Sri Lanka Hi Ravan Ki Swarn Lanka- Anusandhan Aur Yatra”, authored by Dr Dharam Pal Malhotra, a resident of Chamba was launched online on Thursday. In this work, Dr Malhotra presents his extensive research, travel experiences and historical-archaeological evidence to argue that modern-day Sri Lanka is indeed the Golden Lanka described in the Ramayana. The book discusses Ram Setu, Sigiriya fortress, Anuradhapura, megalithic burial sites and Chola inscriptions as key indicators supporting this conclusion.

It also includes travel narratives from sacred sites such as the Pancha Ishwarams, Shankari Devi Shakti Peeth, Sita Amman Temple (believed to be Ashok Vatika) and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy — important locations on Sri Lanka’s “Ramayana Trail”.
