The victim has alleged that she had informed her husband about the rape incident. Out of respect for the family and the Guru, the couple left Dharamsala and went to live in Bir area of Kangra. When they returned to Dharamsala on March 5, a man started threatening the woman. On March 6, he threatened to kill her and her companions after which she decided to file a police complaint.
