The 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS), operated by SJVN, successfully organised the 23rd edition of the Vendor Development Meet on Wednesday, focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) at SJVN, attended the event as the chief guest and emphasised the importance of vendor development meets in fostering an inclusive business ecosystem. He encouraged vendors to stay updated with government norms and SJVN’s procurement policies to ensure fair and seamless participation in business opportunities.
The meet featured insightful presentations by officials from MSME, NSIC, the National SC/ST Hub, and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). These sessions provided valuable knowledge to vendors on navigating procurement processes effectively. The event also served as a platform for vendors to share their success stories and experiences of working with SJVN.
The meet concluded with an open forum discussion, where vendors and stakeholders deliberated on best practices, challenges and strategies to enhance procurement efficiency while upholding ethical business standards.
