Speaking about the honour, Singh said it was a matter of immense pride for him. “This recognition proves that a son of Himachal Pradesh can also bring glory to the state on a global platform. Receiving this honour from Lord Rami Ranger, a respected member of the House of Lords, is an honour for the sacred soil of Himachal and for the trust reposed in me by the people of the state,” he said.

He further dedicated the award to the people of the Shimla (Rural) Legislative Assembly constituency, Congress party workers, supporters and his mentors, whose guidance and blessings, he said, have always inspired him.

“This honour motivates me to work with even greater sincerity, transparency and dedication in public service. I remain committed to the development of the state, the preservation of its cultural identity and, above all, the welfare of the youth. This award belongs to every citizen of Himachal Pradesh,” Singh added.
