The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), designated as the nodal agency for the state for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-2025, hosted individual presentation for entries received from across the state.
The participants gave presentations on topics such as “technology for a developed India”, “development as well as heritage”, “empowering youth for a developed India”, “increasing productivity in agriculture”, “making India the start-up capital of the world”, “making India a sporting and fit nation”, “making India a global manufacturing powerhouse”, “making India energy efficient”, “building infrastructure for the future” and “empowering women and improving social indicators”.
The participants selected from 10 districts of the state met Vice-Chancellor Sat Prakash Bansal of the university to apprise him of their respective subjects. Prof Pradeep Kumar was the chief guest at the event. Bansal said the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs jointly organized the event. Two phases of the event have already been held, witnessing the participation of students from various schools, colleges and universities, he noted.
Phase three was underway, he said, adding that the university had been made the nodal agency of the entire state for this phase. As many as 119 registrations have been received from across the state.
Students will exhibit their talent in 10 subjects. The selected participants will go to Delhi, where they will undergo one more competition on January 11. The students selected in this competition would have the opportunity to speak in front of the Prime Minister in the final round on January 12.
Dr Sunita Bansal, Registrar Suman Sharma, Coordinator Sandeep Kulshrestha, Co-coordinator Suryarashmi Rawat were among those present at the event.
