Vote for Cong alliance, Cong prez Pratibha Singh urges Bihar migrants

Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Pratibha Singh has urged the migrant Bihari population in the state to vote for the Congress alliance (Mahagathbandhan) in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. “The Mahagathbandhan government will speed up development in Bihar,” said Pratibha Singh.

The HPCC president said that the country was heading towards political change and the Bihar win will pave the way for the victory of the Congress and its partners in other states as well.

She further said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress was moving forward strongly. “The Congress has always respected the country's Constitution and democracy and worked to strengthen it,” she said. The BJP-led government, she alleged, was weakening the Constitution and democracy. “The voters of Bihar should cast their vote in favour of the Congress-led alliance to save democracy and the Constitution,” she said.
