Online counselling schedule revised

The HPU has made some changes to the schedule of the second round of online counselling to MBBS and BDS courses. A candidate can fill up the counselling application form with successful transaction of token amount of fee for allocation against vacant seats in government and private colleges from December 6 to 12. The correction in choices/preferences of courses could be done on December 13. On December 18, the result of second round of online counselling will be available on the university website, hpuniv.ac.in or hp.online-counselling.co.in.

Shoolini ex-Prof among top 2% scientists

Professor Deepak Pathania, president of Him Science Congress Association (HSCA) and former professor and Dean Faculty of Sciences at Shoolini University, has been ranked among world’s top 2 per cent scientists by Stanford University, US. He was associated with the university from 2010 to 2017 and served as Dean, Faculty of Sciences and Head School of Chemistry. He is the president of the HSCA Himachal Pradesh, a scientific society working for the promotion of scientific culture in the state. The ranking was released by the Stanford University in the field of chemical sciences. The report was prepared by Prof John PA Loannidis and his team who have listed over 100,000 scientists whose published research manuscripts have accelerated progress in their respective fields and influenced the productivity of other researchers.

Exams likely this month

The exams of M Phil, PG diploma in clinical psychology (2nd semester), LLM (second and fourth semester) both regular and reappear, and LLM (1st and 3rd semester) M Phil/PG diploma in clinical psychology (1st and 3rd semester, reappear exams) are likely to be held in December. According to HPU, the examination forms and fee for the above mentioned exams must reach the office of Deputy Registrar (Examinations-11) by December 18. Thereafter, late fee will be charged as per the rules. The online examination forms for fresh students of the second semester will be available on the university website www.exams.hpushimla.in. After filling up the form, the students are required to take the print and send the hard copy along with certificates to the office of the Deputy Registrar.
