Webinar on Material Science

A webinar was conducted on ‘Material Science: Advances and Applications’ by the Department of Chemistry of MCM DAV College, Kangra. Delivering his keynote address, Prof MS Chauhan said several nano-materials have been approved for medicinal use and treatment of life-threatening diseases. Chemically modified nano-materials and their derivatives used in drug delivery research were also discussed to evaluate the usefulness of these systems in delivering the bioactive molecules.

HPU notifies 3 members of Council

Dr Kamal Kumar Sharma, Department of Commerce, AS College, Khanna (Punjab); Prof Biswambhara Mishra, Department of Economics, North-Eastern University, Umshing Mawkynroh, Shillong; and Dr Ram Mehar, Department of Education, USOL, Panjab University, Chandigarh; have been notified as members of the Academic Council Of Himachal Pradesh University as Chancellor’s nominee for a term of two years with immediate effect, a released issued by the university said.
