Local Met office has predicted another wet spell in the region from February 20 onwards as a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from February 18 night.
Director, Meteorological Department Manmohan Singh said that another fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan region and adjoining plains from February 20 and predicted rain and thunderstorm in low hills and rain and snow in middle hills from February 20 to 22.
There was no significant change in the minimum temperatures. Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district was coldest at night with minimum temperature of minus 4.7 degree followed by Kalpa minus 1.6 degree while the key tourist resorts of Manali, Dalhousie, Dharamsala and Shimla recorded a low of 3.4 degree, 7.3 degree, 7.8 degree and 9.1 degree C, respectively.
Maximum temperatures were 3 to 4 degree above normal and Una with 28.0 degree was hottest in day.
