Kasauli residents have been awaiting concretisation of several roads for quite some time. The problem is more acute during the rains. During a recent spell of rain, many of the kutcha roads of the town eroded, turning several parts of the area into a mucky mess. Not only does this spoil the beauty of this tourist town, it also poses a danger of road accidents. The authorities concerned are requested to look into the matter and ensure that the roads are concretised at the earliest.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
