DEBRIS can be spotted on a patch of the pedestrian path from Sanjauli to IGMC, causing a lot of inconvenience to pedestrians. The garbage has been here for a long time, and is yet to be removed. The authorities concerned are requested to remove the garbage from here at the earliest in the interest of the area residents. —Vikas, Shimla

Malfunctioning streetlight in Shimla

A streetlight near Rahat Hotel on the Chhota Shimla-Mall Road stretch is malfunctioning. Due to this, pedestrians have been facing problems while commuting through this stretch of the road at night. The threat of stray dog attacks looms over pedestrians. The municipal corporation authorities should repair this streetlight on priority. —Bharti, Shimla
