Years of official neglect have left the structure crumbling, with no maintenance or repairs carried out in recent memory. Commuters avoid using it due to unhygienic conditions, including cow dung and accumulated filth. Locals have urged the Public Works Department to take immediate action and renovate the rain shelter, so it can serve its intended purpose — providing protection and basic comfort to daily commuters. —Madan, Kullu
