DUE to the ongoing construction of a parking lot in the Vikasnagar area, traffic jams are becoming longer and more frequent, especially when it is raining. One has to wait for a long time to cross the stretch, on which one-way traffic is allowed at a time. The part of the parking lot that is affecting the flow of traffic should be completed at the earliest. Rajeev, Shimla

MAHADEV Bridge, located on National Highway-5 in Nalagarh, is in bad shape, leaving area residents concerned. The bridge was damaged last year due to rainfall, and has not been properly restored since. The bridge is in a vulnerable situation and could wash away in case of heavy rainfall. X-Ray not being conducted at Totu PHC

X-RAY is not being conducted at the Primary Health Centre, Totu, in Shimla despite the medical facility having X-ray machines. As a result, patients visiting the facility have to get their X-ray done from private centres and have to pay hefty fees for it. The Health Department should provide X-ray facilities to the patients visiting the centre. Gian Singh, Shimla
