Woman dies by suicide in Hamirpur dist
A woman reportedly died by suicide at Nadaun in Hamirpur district today. She was with her friend in a rented room when the latter’s wife arrived there. She questioned the presence of her husband in the room. Members of the nagar panchayat reached there and the police also intervened in the matter. The woman, who died by suicide, was asked to come to the police station but she refused. After everyone left the room, she allegedly ended her life.
SP BS Thakur said that the police had registered a case and started investigation. He added that the body of the decreased was handed over to the bereaved family after a postmortem.
