Woman, son killed in car accident

Shimla, June 30
A woman and her son were killed in a car accident at Koku Nullah in Kotkhai of Shimla district, 55 km from here, this morning.
The accident took place when the driver lost control of the car and it plunged into a gorge. A passer-by was also hit by the car and received serious injuries.
The police reached the spot and retrieved the bodies from the gorge.
The deceased were identified as Shail Devi (45) and her son Abhishek (23) of Theog. The bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem, the police said, adding that a case had been registered.
