Students from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, and several universities of Telangana participating in the ‘Yuva Sangam’ interacted with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhawan today.

The ‘Yuva Sangam’ was organised under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ programme. The Governor said such programmes were useful in promoting cultural engagement and understanding, which further strengthened the feeling of unity among the youth. He added that foreign travellers since ages explored India and studied the Vedas.

He said, “As their understanding about the Vedas developed, they became more and more impressed by the knowledge traditions of India.” He added, “If you want to learn something, learn from the Vedas and if you want to understand, then understand India.” The Governor said the students must feel proud of their culture.
