As Indian students, every year, continue to pursue their study abroad dreams both at the undergraduate and master’s levels, overseas education consultants eduVelocity Global continue to consistently push themselves to obtain best-fit admissions offers for their students. Mr Vinu Warrier, Managing Partner & Founder of eduVelocity, and his team keep innovating to find new ways to add valuable academic and co-curricular achievements to the resume of their students to ensure that they become competitive applicants for both admissions and scholarship offers from their best-ranked programs in their fields of choice at the world’s best universities.
A humble beginning, now a full-fledged team & dream
After having spent 20 years in the US and Canada, Mr.Warrier relocated to India in 2011 and launched eduVelocity in 2015. Although he possesses both US and Canadian citizenship and could have easily chosen any other education-related career after returning from the US, his dream was to work with students in India. The fact that they were not able to gain best value in terms of their admissions or scholarship offers led him to a market survey (with an investment of approximately 30000 USD) that included actively listening to various stakeholders in the field like prospective students, teachers, university professors, counselors, school principals, and parents across 19 different cities. The discovery that our students were not being provided the best, most credible information they required for the best-fit education and career choices marked the beginning of eduVelocity Global, which not only focuses on helping students gain into their best-fit universities but also emphasizes long-term engagement with highly trained and educated psychologists and counselors to work on life skills development and profile building. The experienced educators at eduVelocity with graduate degrees in psychology have expertise in areas such as psychometric testing, career development, time management skills, life skills development, and interview preparation.
EV’s 100 percent track record of success
In 2015, eduVelocity began with 3 students and three counselors. Today, it is a family of students from across the globe, including India, UAE, Oman, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, and the US. The EV Class of 2024 received over 450 admissions offers along with scholarships worth Rs 32,39,86,738 (USD 3.9 Million). In 2025, eduVelocity will celebrate its 10th anniversary, as well as the hundreds of students they have persisted in receiving over 4000 offers from across 18 countries, and approximately 40 million USD in scholarships. EV students have received offers and scholarships across diverse fields ranging from STEM programs to business and entrepreneurship, to the social sciences and humanities, to art, music, filmmaking, and more. EV continues to maintain an almost 100% track record of success.
With over 50 years of collective experience working with hundreds of universities across the U.S., Canada, U.K., EU, Australia, Singapore, and beyond, ranging from the Ivys to the “Public Ivys,” to small and large, public and private, engineering, medical, business, and liberal arts institutions, EV works exclusively with individual students and their families, and are not agents paid by universities, or higher education fair company, or an immigration agency, or a coaching center for such competitive tests as SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, or TOEFL.
EV’s clientele: Partners in progress
eduVelocity’s clients include high school students from grades 9 through 12, college students pursuing undergraduate studies, as well as working professionals aspiring for higher education. EV also collaborates with schools, universities, and third-party entities so that students may find broader and richer opportunities to build their profile, improve test preparations, and develop transformational life skills to succeed on their overseas campuses of choice. However, EV’s primary revenue stream continues to be focused exclusively on individual student fees.
In a span of 9 years, the EV team has won several accolades for their outstanding work with and mentorship of students, and Mr.Warrier was awarded the Best Education Counselor in 2020 at the International Education Awards. He has been featured in Corporate Review Magazine’s Top-10 list for overseas education consultants and EV has also been recognized with the Outstanding Personality/Grooming Classes Award at the International Education Summit and Awards in 2020. In 2022, EV was also celebrated as “The most promising education consultant to watch” by Business Connect at the Indo Global Entrepreneurship Conclave, New Delhi. In 2023, they were recognized as “The most trusted overseas education counseling providers” at the 25th World Education Summit In Dubai (2023).
Exploring Future Pathways & New Possibilities
In the next five years, eduVelocity plans to scale up in terms of numbers as well as in geographical reach so that potential students from different parts of India as well as overseas may find the opportunity to secure admissions and scholarship offers from their best-fit programs and universities in deeply personalized and customized ways (unlike many consultants, each student at eduVelocity is assigned multiple counselors who worked individually with the student to ensure best outcomes). EV also aims to scale up to assist students in such countries as Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Canada, and the USA; to assist students with offers from Indian colleges and Universities as well as to ensure more graduate/PG applicants may receive successful admissions or scholarship offers from world-ranked graduate schools across the globe.
EV firmly believes that the most empowered consumers of higher education are Indian students and it looks forward to expanding in ways where every deserving student can maximize their return on investment (ROI) as they apply to their best-ranked programs and shape successful global careers.
