FARIDABAD, INDIA - Ukhi, a leading material science company specializing in agri-waste-derived biopolymers, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), marking a significant milestone in sustainable packaging innovation.

The ceremonial signing took place at a distinguished event attended by Hon'ble Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Haryana (CUH).

The comprehensive MoU, signed by Shri R K Mishra, IRS, Director of IIP, and Vishal Vivek, CEO & Co-Founder of Ukhi, establishes a framework for collaborative research and development in cutting-edge sustainable packaging solutions. Under this partnership, both organizations will share their research instrumentation facilities and library resources, enabling faculty, scientists, and research scholars to advance their work in eco-friendly packaging technologies.

A key highlight of the collaboration is the appointment of Dr. Tanweer Alam, Additional Director & Regional Officer of IIP Delhi, to Ukhi's esteemed Board of Advisors, further strengthening the strategic alignment between both organizations. The partnership will focus on designing and executing awareness programs on sustainable packaging for government departments and private industries through workshops, seminars, and educational initiatives.

"This collaboration represents a convergence of academic excellence and industrial innovation," said Shri R K Mishra. "By combining IIP's technical expertise with Ukhi's pioneering work in biopolymers, we are positioning ourselves at the forefront of sustainable packaging development in India."
