MP inaugurates works worth Rs 20L at govt schools

Under the state government’s “Punjab Sikhiya Kranti” development works at nine government schools across Kapurthala district were inaugurated today.

Member of Parliament Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal inaugurated projects worth Rs 20.50 lakh at several schools in the Phagwara area, including Government Primary School, Saprore, Government School at Nangal Majha, Government School, Khajurla, and Government Primary School, Bakhriana.

Dr Chabbewal also inaugurated a new science laboratory and an additional classroom at Government Senior Secondary School and Government Primary School Nangal, Lubana, in Bhulath constituency, constructed at a cost of Rs 11 lakh and Rs 6.26 lakh, respectively. In Kapurthala block, Chairman of the Punjab BC Land Development and Finance Corporation, Sandeep Saini, inaugurated new facilities at Government Schools in Mainwa, Daburji and Phulewal.
