A minor girl of Kakati in Belagavi district was allegedly gang-raped and the act filmed by the accused to blackmail her, police said on Sunday.

Five men have been arrested while the hunt is on to nab one more.

The victim lodged a police complaint on Saturday after the perpetrators allegedly raped her repeatedly and threatened her with the video of the initial assault.

According to police, the 15-year-old girl was taken to a hilly area six months ago and gang-raped. The perpetrators recorded a video of the attack. The complainant alleged that she was lured to the hilly area by her boyfriend.
