New Delhi, February 13
Twenty three candidates have bagged the perfect 100 score in JEE-Main 2024 with a maximum of them being from Telangana.
Among the candidates who secured an NTA score of 100, seven are from Telangana, two from Delhi (Madhav Bansal and Ipsit Mittal), three each from Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, two from Haryana and one each from Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
While there are no female candidate who scored 100 percentile, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of Gujarat secured the top spot among female candidates with an NTA score of 99.99.
Aaditya Kumar of Rajasthan, who scored 100 percentile, said, “I want to do research in astrophysics. I have always been fascinated by space science.”
Several students, meanwhile, pointed out discrepancies in the percentile calculations. They claimed there had been a considerable difference between the JEE Main marks and percentile predictions.
