The five accused — Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Amol Shinde, Mahesh Kumawat and Lalit Jha — except for Neelam Azad moved an application before the Additional Sessions Judge Hardeep Kaur of Patiala House Court. The application alleged that the accused were tortured and given electric shocks.

The court has listed the matter for hearing on February 17 and sought a response from the Delhi Police on the application.

The application stated that two of the accused were forced to write about their association with a political party and a leader of the opposition party during the narco test, brain mapping and polygraph.
