Rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) presents both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges for labour markets, said the Economic Survey. Concerns and fears about AI disrupting labour markets had intensified as developments in the field had continually demonstrated rapid progress over the last four years, the survey said, adding that it was important to pay attention to the evolving technological landscape and the potential impact it could have on the labour market.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
