Anand Mahindra meets real-life couple behind ‘12th Fail’, says he is a wealthier man for having met them

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra Group, recently met the real-life couple who inspired the critically acclaimed movie, '12th Fail'. The industrialist took to X and addressed IRS officer Shraddha Joshi and IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, on whose lives the movie is based, as the true real-life heroes.

They were shy when I requested them for their autographs, which I am proudly holding.

He wrote: “If India is to become a global power, it will happen more rapidly if more people adopt their way of life. So they are the real celebrities of this country. And their autographs are heirlooms,” adding that he is a wealthier man for having met them.
