Rahul, in a post on X in Hindi, described the flood situation in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand as “extremely worrying.” He stressed that thousands of families were struggling to safeguard their homes, lives, and loved ones.

“In such difficult times, the attention of the Prime Minister and the active support of the Central government are crucial,” the Congress leader said, urging that relief and rescue operations be stepped up. He also pressed for specific assistance to farmers affected by the floods.
