Two police personnel were suspended and 21 people, including seven women, were arrested in connection with a hooch tragedy in Siwan, Saran and Gopalganj districts of dry Bihar, an official said today.

Thirty-seven people lost their lives for allegedly consuming spurious liquor in the three districts.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
