BJP resolution: Temple heralds ‘Ram Rajya’

New Delhi, February 18

Crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conducting the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the BJP National Council on Sunday passed a special resolution on the temple, terming the development as a harbinger of “Ram Rajya”.

“The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a historic and glorious achievement for the country. This heralds the establishment of ‘Ram Rajya’ in India for the next 1,000 years with the beginning of a new ‘Kalachakra’. This convention of the BJP heartily congratulates the leadership of the PM for successfully conducting the consecration of the idol of Lord Ramlala,” said the resolution, titled “Jay Siya Ram”.

It spoke of the original copy of the Constitution of India (on the section of fundamental rights) bearing a picture of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman after returning to Ayodhya, noting, “it is a proof that Lord Ram is the source of inspiration for the fundamental rights”.

The BJP resolution also mentioned that following the ideals of Lord Ram, “PM Modi had implemented the spirit of ‘Ram Rajya’ in the true sense by establishing good governance in the country.”

The resolution said the consecration ceremony was celebrated as a national festival and January 22 marked the renaissance of India’s spiritual consciousness and the beginning of the journey back to great India.

It lauded the BJP for fighting a determined political and legal battle to build the Ram Mandir and noted that Modi-led NDA rule over 10 years had achieved “unprecedented and remarkable success in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of India.”

Noting that Modi made whole of India experience the magic of Lord Ram, the resolution said, “The values that Lord Ram inculcated in his words and thoughts are the inspiration for Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and the basis of BJP government’s Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayas”.
