In a major outreach ahead of Independence Day, the ruling BJP has finalised a pan-India plan and will reach door-to-door as part of its “Har Ghar Tiranaga” campaign.

“The Tiranga Yatra will cover 15,000 BJP mandals, with the mandal representing a unit below the Assembly seat. The yatra will be held from August 10 to 12,” BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, in-charge of the outreach, said. From August 13 to 15, party workers will undertake Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The outreach will also see BJP leaders holding special events at the memorials and statues of national icons and freedom fighters. — TNS
