Addressing reports about bar on Indians travelling to Saudi Arabia, official sources in India have said that ‘the reports were incorrect’.

The Saudi government has not issued any notification in this matter.

During the Hajj season, there are temporary restrictions on short-term visas to avoid overcrowding, which end with the conclusion of Hajj, the sources said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
