Cartoonist booked over ‘objectionable’ content against RSS

Cartoonist Hemant Malviya was booked on the complaint of an RSS activist, Vinay Joshi, for allegedly posting objectionable content on social media, a police official said on Thursday. Joshi claimed Malviya was posting cartoons to hurt sentiments of Hindus and tarnish the image of the RSS.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
