Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and CJI designate Justice Surya Kant on Tuesday attended a community lunch (langar) organised at Supreme Court on the eve of Guru Nanan Dev's birthday.

On the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney, who is also the International President of World Punjabi Organisation, presented a portrait of the founder of Sikh religion Guru Nanak Dev to CJI and CJI designate.

Also present were Vikas Singh and Pragaya Baghel, President and secretary, respectively, of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
