Cong confused on what issues to raise against Centre: Jakhar
Says workers blame party for losses; hails Nabin’s appointment
Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar on Sunday attacked the Congress for its ‘Vote Chori’ rally in the national capital, saying that the party seemed to be confused on what issue to raise against the Centre.
“The Congress, which for so many years kept claiming that EVMs were hacked, is today holding a rally in Delhi against the alleged vote theft. If EVMs are hacked, why would anyone need to steal votes,” Jakhar asked, in a post on X.
“The Opposition party should first decide whether EVMs are hacked or vote theft is taking place. Now even the Congress’s own workers do not believe the party’s claims of vote theft; instead, they believe that the lack of pro-people policies and the public’s loss of trust in the party’s leadership are the real reasons behind its defeat,” he said.
Jakhar hailed the appointment of Nitin Nabin as the national working president of the party. “Congratulations to Nitin Nabin on being appointed as the working president of the BJP. Under his leadership, the party will serve the nation with even greater strength and dedication,” he said.
