Congress leader Pawan Khera on Friday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of signing a “disgraceful” document at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) that equated India with Pakistan.

“Much noise was made about the SCO statement condemning the Pahalgam terror attack, with the Modi government touting it as some grand ‘diplomatic win’, especially after the abysmal collapse of our foreign policy after Operation Sindoor,” Khera wrote on X.

“Except, the devil is in the details. The SCO statement that condemns the Pahalgam terror attack also, in the same breath, condemned the Jaffer Express and Khuzdar attacks for which Pakistan has blamed ‘Indian terror proxies’,” Khera further said.

He added that instead of vehemently opposing Pakistan’s propaganda, what we actually have is Modi proudly affixing his signature to a document that puts India and Pakistan in the same dock.

“And then he gets his media minions to declare it as a ‘diplomatic breakthrough’. Only a Vote Chor can be such an incompetent disgrace!” he posted.
