Indian Army’s Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai has been given additional charge as the Deputy Chief (Strategy). Lt Gen Ghai will hold both posts. In the past, he has served as the 15 Corps Commander headquartered at Srinagar.

Post the skirmish with Pakistan ( May-7-10), Gen Ghai addressed two press conferences where he was accompanied by DG Air Operations Air Marshal AK Bharti and DG Naval Operations Vice Admiral AN Pramod.
