New Delhi, February 13

A day after resigning from the Congress, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Tuesday joined the BJP in the presence of Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

Chavan (65), mentioned PM Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ dictum to justify his switch from the Congress. “After 38 years of political life, I am commencing a new journey. I would like to do some good work and forge ahead with progressive thoughts,” Chavan said.
