Talks on India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) are progressing well with European Union’s Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic, in a statement on Monday, saying that both partners (India and EU) are working for a “win-win outcome that supports” their two economies.

Sefcovic made the statement today after meeting Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on January 19. For India, the FTA with EU is significant considering it is the second-largest trading partner after the US.
