Ahead of the official release of her film ‘Emergency’ on January 17, actor Kangana Ranaut hosted a special screening in Nagpur on Saturday. The event was attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and the film’s co-star Anupam Kher.

After screening, Gadkari took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his appreciation for the film. “Joined the special screening of the movie ‘Emergency’, featuring Kangana Ranaut ji and Anupam Kher ji, in Nagpur today. I wholeheartedly thank the filmmakers and actors for presenting the dark chapter of our nation’s history with such authenticity and excellence,” he wrote. He further urged the public to watch the film, which he described as a portrayal of a significant period in India’s history.

Gadkari, who witnessed the Emergency firsthand, praised the film. “I am watching the film for the first time, and I have witnessed Emergency in the country. The true history of Emergency that Kangana ji has presented in front of the public today is correct. I am fully confident that this film will receive support from the public as well,” he said.
