Govt ropes in CISF for Parliament security

New Delhi: The government has decided to hand over the security of the Parliament complex to the CISF in the wake of the recent security breach, sources said. The CISF will also have the existing elements of Parliament Security Service, the Delhi Police and the Parliament Duty Group of the CRPF, the sources said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
