Guyana and Barbados would confer their top awards on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Guyana in 56 years.

The number of international honours for PM Modi now stand at 19.  Guyana would confer its highest national award, “The Order of Excellence” on Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Barbados would confer the prestigious Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados Award on him.

Dominica, too, had announced its highest National Award-"Dominica Award of Honour" for the Prime Minister a few days back.
