The Assam Government has declared two-day special casual leave in November for its employees to spend time with their parents or parents-in-law, the CM’s office said on Thursday. The special leave cannot be used for personal enjoyment and those without parents or parents-in-law will not be eligible for the leave, it adds.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
