New delhi: Indore and Surat have been declared joint cleanest cities in India as part of the Swachh Survekshan Awards-2023 presented by President Droupadi Murmu here on Thursday. Indore has won the award for the seventh straight time. Navi Mumbai retained the third position.
Chandigarh won the SafaiMitra Suraksha award for city with best safety standards for sanitation workers.
