New Delhi: With PM Narendra Modi raking up the inheritance tax issue flagged as “interesting” by Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda, the Google searches for inheritance tax in India hit a 20-year high, while that for Sam Pitroda hit a 5-year high. Google Trends published the data as a political row erupted over inheritance tax.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
