Foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday met Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in New Delhi.

"Pleased to call on President Prabowo Subianto Prabowo of Indonesia at the start of his State Visit to India," said Jaishankar.

Jaishankar added, "Value his guidance and positive sentiments for the development of our multifaceted bilateral ties."

He said Subianto's participation as Chief Guest at India's 76th Republic Day celebrations would be a "fitting celebration of our cherished friendship."

President Subianto arrived in New Delhi on Thursday.
