J&K student dies by suicide in Kota, 15th case this year
An 18-year-old NEET aspirant from J&K allegedly hanged herself todeath from the ceiling fan of her paying guest room here, the police said.
This is the 15th such incident this year and the second this month. Before she killed herself on Sunday evening, the girl, Zeeshan, spoke to a relative on the phone and told him that she might commit suicide, the police said. Burhan, the relative, called another student Mamta, and asked her to check on Zeeshan.
Mamta rushed to Zeeshan’s room, found it bolted from inside. A crowd gathered, broke open the door and found Zeeshan hanging from the ceiling fan.
